Japanese Restaurant – South Loop.
Flavor Scale (1-5): 4.5
My friend and I randomly decided to try this restaurant near museum campus—and wow, we’re so glad we did! The restaurant is chic and cozy, with a minimalist design that made it feel really welcoming.
We kicked things off with the Chashu Bun and Chicken Karaage Bun, and let me tell you, they were so good. They were bursting with flavor. Each bite was a delightful mix of tender meat and well-balanced seasonings.
For the main event, we both went with the Kare Raisu—I got the chicken katsu, and my friend went with the pork katsu. Everything was packed with flavor, and I especially loved the little salad that came with my dish.
To wrap it all up, my friend tried the Matcha Tiramisu for dessert, and it was the perfect sweet finish.
We left super happy and already talking about what we’ll try next time. If you’re in the area, this spot is definitely worth checking out!
