Chinese Restaurant – West Town.
Flavor Scale (1-5): 3.9
Tried another restaurant featured in The Bear—this time for Sunday dinner. We lucked out and got there just in time, so no wait (pro tip: the place is tiny, so definitely go during off-hours if you can).
We ordered Pork & Dill and Beef & Green Onion dumplings in broth, beef noodle soup, wood ear salad, cold chicken, and sliced beef shank. Everything was flavorful, but the flavors started to blend together across dishes, which was a bit of a letdown.
Overall, good food—but felt a little overhyped. Still worth a visit if you’re nearby and want to see what the fuss is about.
