DIEGO

Mexican Restaurant – West Town.

Flavor Scale (1-5): 4.3

Some friends and I stumbled into a Mexican restaurant recently, and it turned out to be a fun little surprise. The indoor-outdoor setup was perfect for our group, and the space was super colorful and lively—definitely a vibe.

We kicked things off with the salsa trio, guac, and chips for the table. The salsas were all unique and tasty, and the chips? Whole fried tortillas you had to break apart yourself—something I’d never seen before and honestly kind of loved.

For mains, we tried the Pescado tacos, Diego Cali Burrito, Gobernador taco (shrimp), and the Nortena tacos. Everything was flavorful and fresh—we all left happy taste-wise. The portions were on the smaller side (just two small tacos), so I definitely could’ve eaten more. Still, a fun, flavorful spot I’d go back to—with a bigger order next time.
